On April 18, President Trump signed an Executive Order directing the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to issue Commissioner's National Priority Vouchers (CNPVs) to psychedelic drugs with Breakthrough Therapy designation, a mechanism that can compress FDA review timelines from ten months to one or two months.
