Last week, ahead of its fourth mission, Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket exploded during a test fire at its launch site in Florida. The explosion severely damaged Launch Complex 36, Blue Origin’s only operational orbital launch pad for New Glenn. While the company is building additional launch infrastructure and investigating the root cause, the damage is likely to delay the vehicle’s next flight by at least one year.
